The location is excellent. It provides great access to wonderful walks. all staff members are helpful and friendly. the hotel maintains a lovely, cozy ambiance, i really liked that. the food options are very tasty, generous portions are provided, and there are healthy choices available. the bed was very comfortable too.
the decor felt somewhat tired, perhaps some updates could enhance the overall feel. i saw woodchip wallpaper in the room, it is a bit old.

the standard double room was a good size and included useful usb adaptors in the sockets. plenty of hot water was available, it ensures a comfortable experience. heating worked well too, we found it to be nice.
